Types of NSPAA Memberships

Members have the option of joining under an Institutional, Individual, or Associate membership.

Institutional/Individual: An individual or group of individuals that are covered under a group by a Historically Black College or University who actively engage in or seek to become involved in research and sponsored projects. The Institutional Membership is transferable within the Institution one time each dues year.  It is the responsibility of the Institution to verify the membership is eligible to be transferred and to notify NSPAA in writing of the membership changes.  Please complete and upload the Institutional Members List form when adding members to be covered under the selected Institutional Membership.

Associate: A non-voting affiliate that is an individual not directly employed at an HBCU but has an interest in sponsored programs administration.

Dues are for a twelve-month period. NSPAA operates on a fixed membership year, effective July 1 and expires June 30.

Payment can be made via check or credit card.  If paying by credit card, a processing fee (3.5%) will be added to your transaction.
