The National Sponsored Programs Administrators Alliance (NSPAA) announced the appointment of two accomplished research administration professionals to its Board of Directors. Dr. Sharita Wallace and William Davis, MBA, CPA officially joined the NSPAA Board during the organization's August 2026 board meeting.

William T. Davis, CPA

William currently serving as Director of Grants and Contracts at Jackson State University since 2023, joins the Board with significant experience in grants administration, financial management, and sponsored program oversight.

Dr. Sharita Wallace

Dr. Wallace, Pre-Award Director at Central State University in Ohio, brings extensive expertise in grant and research administration, including experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

"We are excited about the collective energy and depth of experiences that Mr. Davis and Dr. Wallace add to the board and NSPAA organization," said Theodore Callier, President of NSPAA. "Both Sharita and William share a passion for growing and sustaining opportunities within our research community."

NSPAA is dedicated to advancing research administration excellence across Historically Black Colleges and Universities through collaboration, training, networking, and professional development opportunities.
